Layens Horizontal 15 Frame Bee Box

The best hand-crafted horizontal hive is finally here! Made from pine and created with the safety and longevity of bees in mind, this model is more natural for the bees as it mimics what the inside of a tree would be like while also keeping them in their natural environment that bees need for their survival.

Generally, bee-keeping can be hard for many as it requires some heavy lifting of the boxes, and the frames needing to be checked a couple times per month. With this model though, it only requires two visits per year to retrieve honey. Once you set the box in place and introduce your swarm, the heaviest part you’ll need to lift is a single, honey-filled frame out of the box.

This box contains 15 pine, pre-wired frames and a lid that is capped with aluminum to protect from weathering. The entire box is pre-assembled, so all you have to do is introduce your swarm.
